​Jocy Bell Perryman is known only from the information on her gravestone, which tells us that she died in infancy, at the age of 10 months in August 1881. She was probably a daughter of Ransom and America Perryman, who lived near Ash Grove in 1880. No other information about Jocy Bell Peryman has been found (Russel 2012).

Grave Marker: The grave marker for Jocy Bell Perryman is a small tablet style monument. One face of the maker has text below an image of a dove in flight. All text is inscribed. The marker is 18 x 9 x 2 inches in size. At the time of recordation, the marker was not set in the ground and was leaning against the base of the marker for Rev. Harvey. The original location of the headstone for Jocy Bell Perryman is unknown.
