Sarah Elmira Berry, eldest child of William and Caroline (Boone) Berry, was born in Missouri, likely in Ash Grove, on September 1, 1873. Little is known about Sarah’s short life, but it appears she never married or had any children. She died on May 21, 1894 at 20 years of age (Russel 2012).
