Maggie (Coleman) Hendricks was born in February 1877, in Missouri, to George and Evaline (Love) Coleman. In about 1899, Maggie married Charles Hendricks. By 1900, the couple was living in Ash Grove and Charles worked as a laborer in the rock quarry of the Ash Grove White Lime Association. Maggie and Charles don’t appear to have had children together. Maggie died of breast cancer on September 24, 1918. Her death certificate states that she was interred on September 26, 1918 in the "Berry Cemetery" ((Russel 2012).
Grave Marker: Mary Hendricks' specific place of burial within the Berry Cemetery is unknown and there is no known individual headstone for her. However, Mary is memorialized by the inscription of her name (shown below) on the new monument, installed in 2017, for individuals interred in unmarked graves in the Berry Cemetery.
