Louise Herron was born in Ash Grove, Missouri on August 16, 1905, to Anna (Mitchell) Herron. Her father is listed as Aaron Herron on her death certificate, but this may not be the same Aaron Herron interred in the Berry Cemetery, since all of Anna Herron’s children were born during Aaron’s marriage to Susan (Wadlow) Herron. In 1910, Louise was living with her mother near Ash Grove. Louise's death certificate indicates that on March 6, 1914, at just 8 1/2 years old, Louise died of an intestinal obstruction and tubercular peritonitis, and was interred the following day in the Berry Cemetery (Russel 1912).
Grave Marker:Louise Herron'sspecific place of burial in the Berry Cemetery is unknown and there is no known individual headstone for her. However, Louise is memorialized by the inscription of her name (shown below) on the monument, installed in 2017, for individuals interred in unmarked graves in the Berry Cemetery.
